Colleges
and Universities that use TOEFL scores for student admissions have
begun to set their TOEFL iBT score requirements. These initial score
standards will be reviewed by the institutions after the first year
of testing. A number of institutions plan to set section or skill
score requirements either by themselves or in conjunction with the
whole score, at the same time as others plan to set a total score
standard in order to make best use of the score information.
